A3 Problem Solving

December 9 | 8 AM to 4 PM | $350

This 1-day certificate program will allow participants to understand and apply the structured problem solving and continuous improvement methodology used by lean practitioners.  This approach can be applied to any work that is completed in various settings such as:

  • Manufacturing,

  • Offices,

  • Hospitals, or

  • Clinics.

Each participant will apply A3 Problem Solving to a process in their workplace.


Front Line Team Leader Development Program

December 16, 2021 | 8 AM to 4 PM  | $600

This 1-day certificate program will provide front line team leaders with communication and teambuilding skills to motivate and inspire their teams.  This class will cover:​

  • Transitioning from a coworker to Team Leader

  • Understanding different behavioral styles

  • How to build trust and commitment

  • Keys for motivating and engaging employees

  • Drivers of successful teams

Each participant will identify at least three things they can do immediately to lead their team successfully.


Supervisory Development Program

January 12, 19, 26; February 2, 9 | 8 AM to 4 PM | $2,000 ($1,000 With Grant Funding)

This 40-hour certificate program is for new supervisors and managers.  Our program will help participants develop the skills and confidence to lead people for positive business outcomes.  The program covers:

  • The Role of the Leader

  • Problem-Solving

  • Respectful Communication Skills

  • Building Trust & Commitment

  • Conflict Resolution

  • Coaching for High Performance

  • Building Customer-Focused Teamwork

  • Maximizing Personal Effectiveness

  • Legal Aspects of Managing Others

  • Valuing Diversity & Inclusion

After each class, participants complete assignments with their employees to practices the skills discussed in class.


Six Sigma Green Belt

January 14, 21, 28; February 4, 11, 18 | 8 AM to 4 PM | $2,600 ($1,300 With Grant Funding)

This 48-hour certificate program will allow participants to learn and apply the DMAIC methodology to a project of their choice.  This class will cover:

  • Define

  • Measure

  • Analysis

  • Improve

  • Control

Participants will have the opportunity to present their projects in class.


The Essentials of Managing Projects

February 14-15 | 8 AM to 4 PM | $700 ($350 With Grant Funding)

This 16-hour certificate program allows participants to learn and apply project management skills to a project of their choice.  This class will cover key project management tools for a successful project.  Some of the tools include the:

  • Project Charter

  • Stakeholder Analysis

  • Project Schedule

  • Risk Register

  • Change Management Documents.
